However, if you want either advice, help with existing content or something completely new that’s tailored and personal for your business, I can probably help. Content is my jam, it’s something I’ve been tinkering away at for a good thirty something years. I’ve won awards for it, sold it, marketed it, stuck it in TV shows, polished it for advertorials and keyworded it to make sure all the little search engine bots find it and give it a better ranking. STUFF I DO
There isn’t much I haven’t written about in my time as an award-winning journalist. From business through to television scripting and as a content marketer. I’ve interviewed world leaders, A-List celebrities and billion-dollar entrepreneurs. However, most people are only impressed when I mention I met The Wiggles.
Copywriting
Producing and editing video is possibly the best part about being the colouring-in department. Requests for video production come in many forms; Can you fix this business video that my teenage son tried to film and edit? Do you make videos for the blind? Or my favourite; It’s just a short video - it should only take five minutes to film, says the finance team. Most of the time it just starts with a conversation and a vision.

Contrary to popular opinion, this highly skilled form of producing content isn’t just about writing a blog and shoving overt advertising messaging in there. It's a delicate dance where marketing knocks on the door and the audience doesn’t feel like they have a pushy salesperson trying to force their way inside. I love this part of a brief - produce great content and deliver some key sales & marketing messaging too.
